NORTH EAST ASSOCIATION - JUNE 2012 BANK HOLIDAY COMPETITION

MESSAGE FROM NORTH EAST ASSOCIATION:

Following this year's North East Association Easter Extravaganzzzzzaaaaaa held in April at Rainton Meadows, we are well underway in organising next years competition.

Due to Easter being later in 2012, we have used a common sense approach and with agreement from all of our bands within the association, we have opted for SUNDAY JUNE 3rd 2012, again at Rainton Meadows.

As we are having this competition over the Spring Bank Holiday, whilst joining in with the Royals with their celebrations we will be having a RED, BLUE AND WHITE theme day.

We will have single competitions, however, there will be a team competition also.

Which Colour will you march under - Will your band be the RED TEAM, BLUE TEAM or even the WHITE TEAM......

We are looking at the press being at the event, whilst receiving T.V Footage too - IT WILL BE A GREAT EVENT!!!!

Already we have had a number of bands wishing to compete up and down the country, however, we have been waiting on finalising a venue.

As we have our date, venue and competition now all booked up, please let all bands up and down the UK, they are all more than welcome to attend our competition, however, always remember we will have a limit of a maximum of bands to compete on the day..

As per last year there will be prize money available, again it will be £20 entrance fee per band plus raffle tickets too.  To book your band's place, your £20 entrance fee must be paid by the end of February 2012.

Should you need any accommodation, then I will personally look into accommodation for all bands travelling.

Should you wish to attend this fantastic competition, please let any of the North East Association know.

We cannot wait to work again with an excellent sub-committee in ensuring this event is greater and better than this year.

Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you all very soon.
Come on folks, let's make this a weekend to remember..............

Let us make 2012 a great year of excellent competitions, fantastic venues and well organised events.

Thanks and Regards

James on behalf of the North East Association Top Table
