The first England v Wales competition took place 1973. The first World Championships was held at Alexandra Palace, London 1974.

A Meeting held in Hednesford (West Midlands) in 1976 was to form UKFJB, Garfield Bishop, Ann Cann, John Reid, Margaret & Ron Stokes, Robin Woodyatt, Allan Rogers and John O'Shaunessy all helped to formulate the procedure of the UKFJB.

The first UKFJB headquarters was in Ystrad Mynach in 1977. Allan Rogers was elected as Chief Executive Officer with the title of National Secretary in 1977.

Robin Woodyatt who was the present secretary was elected the UKFJB Administration Officer for 1978/79, Garfield Bishop President.

John O'Shaunessy was elected UKFJB Chairman for 1978/79.

It was decided that two Vice Chairperson's be elected which was John Read and Len Walker in 1978/79.

Garfield Bishop was elected as Honorary Life President of the Movement in April 1978.

The first UKFJB championships was held in 1978.

Regional Committee's proposed to be set up, that 34 Vice Chairperson's be elected April 1979. These were Arfon Henderson elected for South Wales, William Coatham for the North East, John Read for West Midlands, G Chamberlain for East Midlands.
